The Sales Fellow is responsible for attainment of sales and market share objectives, execution of national, regional, local promotional activities and programs for assigned products and therapeutic areas, effective territory management, operating within assigned territory budget, and adherence to assigned administrative duties. Additionally, the Sales Fellow must provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace. The Sales Fellow will work with members of the regional sales team to achieve both individual and team goals, interact with sales and marketing management to refine product and market initiatives, call on existing and prospective customers, provide product information and quotes appropriate customer prices, develop new accounts and grow existing accounts within established geographic territory.
This Sales Fellow position requires > 50% business travel. There may be times when you must help Sales Representatives or Cardiovascular Specialists in areas that are not within a commuting distance of your "home base." When this occurs, the region is responsible for paying reasonable lodging and travel expenses according the Johnson & Johnson travel policy, and based on the budget provided to the region to cover these areas of needs. Sales Fellows will primarily be responsible for covering territories that are vacant, providing critical account coverage until the territory if filled and or an employee out on Short-Term or Long-Term Disability returns. Secondarily, you will be asked to support geographies that are in need of additional support do to increase market opportunity.
In order to fulfill this position you agree that you will be open to relocation into an open territory at the completion of the Sales Fellow Program. Additionally, you agree that selection into this program does not guarantee you a Cordis Sales Represtative position. The movement into a Cordis Sales Represnetative position will be based on your performance and development progress as a Sales Fellow.
Sales Fellows will receive the same training as a Sales Representative
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A Bachelors degree is required, preferably within a life science or business. A minimum A minimum of 3 years of healthcare or business to business outside sales experience required and/or be a Junior Military Officer (JMO). Institutional Account Management and/or Vascular sales experience is preferred. Required to have valid US driver's license and clean driving record. Candidates must be able to travel overnight as needed or requested, and must possess good written and oral communication skills.
