An HR Officer with Hilton is responsible for administration and support of our Human Resources Office.

What will I be doing?
As an HR Officer, you are part of a team dedicated to recruiting, training and developing our team to maximise their potential. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support and advise Managers on policies and procedures
Assist with employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances.
Manage our on-line recruitment system and work with managers to source the right people in a timely fashion.
Ensure that new team members are loaded into our payroll system in a timely manner and manage their on-boarding process from start to finish.
Assist managers with reference checking.
Ensure the accurate administration of mandatory training within the hotel.
Assist with the organisation of team member special events.
Prmote team benefits and manage the noticeboards, screens etc.
Write and edit the fortnightly newsletter.
Assist with team queries in a timely fashion.
Assist with the training of new team members through our orientation package.
Ensure that all of our team complete on-line learning as required.

What are we looking for?
Previous experience as an HR Officer or equivalent role
A positive outlook
Excellent communication and people skills
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on your own and in a small team
An HR Degree or working towards qualification, or equivalent
Knowledge of hospitality
Good knowledge of employment law and employee relations
