Key Areas of Responsibility:
Candidate will be responsible for creation, setup, and support of system environments for use with Teradata products. As a first level software and test engineer, responsibilities include hardware configuration and setup, software installation, executing and monitoring tests, basic script development using PERL, bash, and related shell based coding.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in organization and time management where scheduling priorities and efficiency in system configuration is essential. A good understanding of LINUX, administration is essential. The selected candidate will possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

US Permanent Resident
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
1+ years experience in basic systems environments.
Familiarity with the Bourne class of shells (sh, ksh, and bash) and PERL scripting.
Demonstrated object oriented language development skills
Familiarity with Novell SuSE LINUX Enterprise Server
Familiarity with virtual machines (VMWare, Virtual Box, etc.)
