The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing support on issues involving employees, compensation, benefits and other Human Resources related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Conducts new employee orientation, explaining policies and benefits
Ensures that all paperwork and other pertinent information are complete and correct
Inputs data into Human Resource System such as new hires, pay rate changes, terminations, transfers, address changes, etc. as well as benefits information
When necessary, assists management by preparing required documents to include personnel status changes, employment changes, and terminations based on information provided by managers
Circulates and tracks paperwork to secure necessary approval
Distributes copies to appropriates parties per procedures
Processes and completes verification of employment requests from financial institutions and mortgage companies in an efficient and timely manner
Maintains forms supply and ensures that an adequate supply of applicant and new hire packets are available at all times
Performs routine duties such as filing, copying, and routing of mail
Maintains the job-posting program for area of responsibility
Assists in preparation and distribution of documents for benefits and employee mass mailings
Sets up and maintains Employee Personnel files for active and terminated employees
When new policies are introduced, distributes and ensures that forms are collected from all employees in the area of responsibility
Submits COBRA information to vendor when necessary
Types correspondence when necessary
Processes forms when needed
Works closely with HR Liaisons and Payroll personnel
Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of prior experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
