This is an entry-level position providing first-level support and problem-solving management for customers related to their accounts.
Successful candidate will be responsible for incoming calls from customers handling a variety of questions, typically resolving less complex issues immediately, while more complex problems are transferred to second-level support. Incoming calls are from customers on a variety of items, assisting them in resolving issues with their accounts. Outbound calls are made to customers with outstanding receivables under $10,000 to confirm payments are being processed in a timely manner.
This position requires considerable interaction with external customers, requiring various forms of communication including telephone, email, and fax.
Supply invoice copies to customers are required.
Accept credit card payments as needed.
Run credit reports and call customers for credit references.
Set up new customer accounts.
Research documentation, such as check copies, and help resolve disputes.
Build collaborative relationships with ongoing customers.
Associate's degree in business-related discipline is required.
