The LTC Business Office Coordinator is responsible for self-pay statements and collections, Medicaid pending/payor status of residents, PFA fund, and controlling bad debt for the designated long-term care facility. Supervises and directs facility clerical staff. Works with facility and centralized billing staff to communicate collection needs and to resolve patient accounts. Responsible for all business office functions within facility. Reviews and understands billing regulatory updates and applies knowledge to daily tasks.

EDUCATION

Required:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred:

Associates Degree or some college course work.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Required:

Minimum two years medical office or skilled nursing facility billing experience or equivalent experience in office setting.

Preferred:

Supervisory experience.
