Regional Chain Manager
Plan, develop, communicate, sell, and implement national strategic initiatives and brand priorities in assigned Regional Accounts in close coordination with division sales, marketing teams and distributors. Leverage effective regional ideas in developing national level sales tactics. Develop specific account level sales and marketing strategies in concert with division marketing and the distributor, enabling tailored marketing plans for accounts falling within focus vicinities. Responsibilities will include creating account level metrics to evaluate sales performance, establishing compliance metrics to enable monitoring of distributor follow-through, and strengthening and building relationships with key retailers in a defined number of regional accounts in the market. Incumbent will approve regional generated pricing, negotiates and takes ownership of all programs that affect national accounts.

- Business Analysis Planning & Performance:
Deliver state level plan by hitting the profit target. Accountable for market level market plans/budgets. Manage market level spend and volume budgets. Ensures ROI analysis is completed against market level activity. Provide standard monthly updates on strategic imperatives to BUD. Manage market level pricing plan on a monthly basis. Manage local inventory levels. Lead creation of Market level AOP with appropriate Distributor team as well as appropriate Division team (DMM, Finance, etc).
- Distributor Management
: Reinforce PRUSA needs and WOW in line with distributor framework. Lead monthly performance management reviews. Build strong business relationships with distributor management.. Ensure PRUSA strategic imperatives and local KPIs are being achieved in line with AOP. Ensure distributor teams (overlay and general) are provided PRUSA based training. Actively engage in shaping the distributor dedicated (where applicable) culture and WOW to drive maximum performance. Take ownership of entire team.
Own market level forecasts. Provide accurate and timely forecasts to BU including case volume and profitability. Execute the plan while accurately forecasting monthly expectations on volume and spend.
: Provide for training of distribution reps and retailers on Pernod Ricard USA brands and target consumers; including use of ambassadors and other educational resources.
Position typically works with the Divisional VPs, Region Managers, On Premise District Managers, Division Marketing Directors, Division Brand Managers, Brand Ambassadors, Distributor Key Contact and Local Account Manager, and Brand Directors. Contacts also include brokers and PR USA vendor providers. Incumbent plans activities for this position tri-monthly, with individual initiative in daily routine. Decisions have national impact and can significantly affect the performance and profitability of Pernod Ricard USA.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience/Background: A minimum of 5-7 plus years of proven success in sales serving a large number of diverse retailers; ideally, experience with distributors and direct key account or channel responsibility.
Work is performed in a typical field environment, with moderate demands for movement and lifting. Frequent travel to customer sites is required.
