To organize and conduct medically and prescribed Physical Therapy programs to restore function, prevent or minimize disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part and assist patient to reach maximum performance. To evaluate records and report patient's progress for review. The responsibilities in this job description are reflective of the expectation that patient care is delivered in a manner that is appropriate to patient age, physical ability and intellectual development. It is expected that patient care will be adapted to meet the following populations: a) pediatric, ages 29 days to 13 years; b) adult, ages 14 to 64 years; c) geriatric, ages 65+ years.
REQUIRED: BA or BS in Physical Therapy or BS in Science-
biology, chemistry with a Physical Therapy Certificate
REQUIRED: Over one month Staff Physical Therapist
DESIRED: Over one year Staff Physical Therapist in an acute
care, general hospital
