Post by Jobing - This position is responsible for providing information to retired and active members regarding PERA's insurance offerings, including health care, prescription drug, dental, vision, life, and long term care insurance. This position is responsible for handling and resolving elevated retiree and member issues, and for advocating with carriers on behalf of members. This position is also responsible for maintaining enrollment and eligbility records, payments of premiums to carriers, and premium billings for plan participants. Provides information and counseling.

Three years experience in insurance or employee benefitsBachelor's degree in related field may substitute for required minumum work experienceCertified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation preferredKnowledge of insurance programsStrong oral and written communication skills
