Supervisor – 2nd Shift
SUMMARY
Responsible for the direction of assigned programs
and/or production output and processes. Will coordinate
team activities to accomplish specific objectives. This
is a first-line team leader over a manufacturing/
operations support team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise team members in a value stream to ensure
quality standards are being followed.
  • Ensure that departmental productivity targets are met
to meet customer requirements.
  • Promote compliance with safety policies and
procedures.
  • Conduct daily cell board meetings with the support of
the team.
  • Complete performance appraisals for direct reports
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education and experience typically acquired through
either a B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or
business discipline or equivalent experience and
demonstrated ability to perform the described role and
responsibilities and obtain the desired results.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of manufacturing
experience (including extensive lean manufacturing
processes).
  • Requires hands-on experience in the implementation of
lean techniques including value stream mapping,
5S+Safety, single piece flow, and standard work.
  • Minimum of two years leadership experience necessary,
including formal team leadership experience -Ability to
lead and engage employees in a high performance team
environment.
  • Knowledgeable of weld, braze, and mechanical assembly
processes.
