Product Test Technical Lead - 704380 Description Job Description: Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Tests, validates, modifies and re-designs circuits to guarantee component margin to specification. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
      Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 5- 7 years direct experience in a product development environment.
      The successful candidate must have strong people management, project management, planning, communication, and logical and methodical problem solving skills coupled with experience in many test related areas including test program development/debug, tester/prober hardware debug, and device/silicon fail signatures. Demonstrated ability as technical manager required.

      In addition to these requirements the ideal candidate would have many of the following skills and experience.
      - Knowledge of Design-For-Test techniques
      - Knowledge of DC test methods
      - Knowledge of JTAG and Structural and Functional testing (scan, mbist/pbist, fuse, cache, iobist, etc).

Intel Custom Foundry group is looking for talented and ambitious individuals to help build a winning team. The candidate will be part of the Product Development Engineering (PDE) group. As a Foundry Product Development Engineer Technical Lead, you will be responsible for working with Intel Foundry Customers to deliver a robust manufacturing test infrastructure. Responsibilities will include working in pre silicon and post silicon phases of the product development cycle to drive the testability and manufacturability of silicon designs for foundry products designed by Intel Custom Foundry ASIC design team or by external foundry customer design teams. Candidate is then expected to translate the DFx capabilities into ATE solutions (test code, data analysis tools, external instrumentation) for post silicon execution and develop validation plans needed to achieve certification. The candidate will be working with Design Engineers, Quality & Reliability Engineers and Product Engineers to achieve the objectives and must have the ability to work well in a team environment, problem solving and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work with Foundry Customers to document test spec in detail. Drive customer compliance to implement Intel required DFx. Collaborate with test technology group to provide test solution in cases where the product requirements are outside the existing technology envelope. Develop / define sort and class test hardware spec. Develop, checkout, characterize and release test program that complies with test spec agreed upon with customer. Evaluate, develop and debug new test methods, as applicable.
