The Release Project Manager has oversight for the definition, support, and enforcement of processes
for build of source code and compiled executables to various environments based on defined Release
Management processes and program management methodologies implemented within the Claims PMO.
This person will be responsible for planning, maintaining and documenting software releases among all
environments including promotion into production, as well as for change management processes
throughout Quality Assurance and Testing. The key responsibility entails planning, defining and
leading a cohesive software build, packaging, dependency management and deployment strategy
uniting the efforts of Development, QA, Builds, System Integration, vendors/partners and other
teams.
Job Requirements:Mandatory Expectations:
? Knowledge of Insurance & Claims
? Knowledge of Claims Application Software, including Siebel/Oracle, Thunderhead, ALSB,
FileNET, PEGA.
? Project Management experience handling large/complex projects with multiple applications
and integration points; distributed and mainframe systems
? Expert in Claims IT SDLC process
? Experience in using Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology in the SDLC process
? Siebel experience
? Workers Comp experience
? Able to give information in English and passively participate in team meetings. Understands
routine business conversations and letters and is able to communicate with few errors
Education:
? 4 year college degree
? Masters degree preferred

? Ability to establish and follow processes and enhance them as needed
? Communicate effectively
? Ability to lead the team throughout the Release process from Inception to Transition
? Insurance industry experience is a plus
