Le Pain Quotidien serves simple, elegant boulangerie fare—soup, salads, tartines, breakfast, homemade pastries and handmade organic bread—made with organic ingredients whenever possible. The menu includes many vegan and vegetarian options. The concept remains essentially unchanged since founder Alain Coumont opened the first Le Pain Quotidien in Brussels in 1990: bakery and communal table, breakfast, brunch and lunch. With its communal tables, artisanal dishes and tranquil environment, Le Pain Quotidien transports its customers to the Belgian countryside.

Today Le Pain Quotidien has a global community of more than 140 stores throughout the world, in Belgium, France, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia, Qatar, Australia, Spain, Mexico, Bahrain, India and Japan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Reinforce company online presence in selected medium •Manage online communications and work closely with our creative department •Develop and manage on-going daily social media program and execution (including Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare …) to: -Increase brand awareness -Drive traffic into our stores and onto our website -Increase guest loyalty •Develop online content and promotion for selected stores in the US •Monitor customer feedback of online activity and report major findings •Some data entry and report creation •Support in day to day business needs Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree required, business experience a plus •Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision; desire to be in an entrepreneurial environment •Strong written communications skills a MUST •Strong analytical skills to track performance and results of initiatives •Strong project management skills •Must have strong interpersonal skills •Experienced with social media sites •Strong interest in digital marketing •Food and/or restaurant industry experience or personal food interest a plus •Must be extremely comfortable using and navigating websites and using PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) Le Pain Quotidien is looking for an energetic intern who can work a flexible schedule (approximately 20-25 hours a week or more) and enjoys the hospitality and food industries, and who is able to work a semester's length of time.

The internship may be extended. The internship is unpaid, but there are many opportunities to receive excellent practical experience.
