The Manager Operations will provide operational oversight of assigned account relationships. Tasks will include managing proactive pipeline management, identification of client training needs and problem resolution support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage assigned operations staff.
Manage performance of daily proactive pipeline management.
Provide support for escalated problem resolution.
Resolve operational issues raised by sales managers.
Work closely with the sales managers to identify new sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
Work with training and development to provide training tools to assigned accounts aimed at increasing production volume or improving loan quality.
Identify negative trends associated with key areas such as compliance or loan quality and work directly with sales managers to provide solutions.
Interface with internal operations and support areas to identify root cause of issues.
Manage process and procedure change or best practice communication to peers and sales managers.
Manage direct reports so as to effectively evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities.
Effectively communicate with internal and external management/clients/customers/vendors.
Perform hiring, training, and performance management process activities.

QUALIFICATIONS-Summarize the typical qualifications in terms of education, years of related experience and other additional technical/professional/trade competencies of this job .

Education:
BS/BA degree in Business or related degree.

Years of Related Experience :
Five (5) or more years mortgage operations experience required.
Previous Mavent, CoreLogic, Interthinks, FHA, VA, DU, and LP experience preferred.
Three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Proven experience working in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment.
Proven time management and problem solving skills.
Effective in counseling subordinates, providing input and evaluating employee performance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Vision: Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.
