A college degree in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year of Cyber Security experience is required or no degree with a minimum of 6 years of Cyber Security experience.
Background in information security, information assurance, and/or cyber security for information systems, including: security policies & procedures, threat identification, risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, security architecture, system security requirements, secure system design and development, software assurance, application security, technical security assessments, security testing, independent verification & validation, penetration testing, incident response, network and/or server forensics.
Knowledge and use of security technologies, including identification & authentication mechanisms, access control, network security appliances, VPNs, network and host based intrusion detection/prevention, anti-malware, security event management, PKI, data cryptography, network security protocols, and cross domain solutions.
Certification and accreditation process for the Federal government (FISMA/NIST), DoD (DITSCAP/DIACAP), or NSA/CSS (NISCAP)
Knowledge and use of security assessment tools, including Nessus, Retina, Tripwire, ISS, DISA gold disks, Snort,ethereal/wireshark, forensics tools.
Development of exploits of operating systems, networks, and/or personal computer/mobile devices; Analysis and reverse engineering of code.
Development and delivery of cyber workforce and end-user training and awareness
Any of the following professional certifications preferred are highly desired: CISSP, Security+, SANS GSEC, GSLC (and others), CEH, CAP, CISA, or other industry-recognized security certifications.
Experience in applying any of the aforementioned skills in a Federal, DoD, and/or IC environment is required.
Technical leadership qualities highly desired, including the ability towork in an integrated team and provide subject matter expertise, advice, and solutions that are cost-effective and risk-managed for our clients.
Experience in performing activities and developing documentation (e.g. System Security Plans, SRTM, STEs, SAPs, Risk Assessments, Continuous Monitoring) that support the C&A process is sought after
Experience in IAVM/IAVA in a DoD environment is sought after
Experience in CND/CNA and cyber operations in an IC environment is sought after
Several positions require current U.S. government security clearances, some including TS/SCI with poly. Applicants must be U.S citizens.
