Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. seeks interns for the Time Warner College Associates Program. The TWCAP will develop and mentor top-tier diverse students nationwide in entertainment, news, media and telecommunications industries to prepare students for corporate and community leadership. The TWCAP at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. will consist of undergraduate college students who will reflect the diversity of the local community.

Interns will work closely with Sales Assistants, Sales Planners, Account Executives and Sales managers in support of the overall advertising sales process. This includes gaining exposure to various aspects of TV and Digital Sales for national, local, and international markets. The intern will assist with and learn skills in research, sales process planning, presentation creation and delivery, client prospecting and sales calls. In addition, selected interns will interact with and learn how the sales teams partner with other departments such as Research, Marketing, and Promotions.
Opportunities exist with Ad Sales teams for News, Entertainment, Sports, Cartoon Network, and International Ad Sales.
Candidates should possess excellent written/verbal communication and organization skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. General knowledge of advertising media processes a plus. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred).
Candidates should be rising juniors or seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree and must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship.
