We are looking for a dynamic and professional individual to join our team in Portland/Bangor, ME.
A Trainer will assist General Manager in the day-to-day activities of the region by overseeing all Training, Safety, and Q.C. functions. A Trainer is responsible for development and implementation of training programs for the training and up-training of all Field Technician, Warehouse, Fleet, and QC personnel. A Trainer will also audit work sites and personnel for safe working practices and conditions. The ideal candidate will have training experience, be able to facilitate the growth and development of employees through positive and effective communication and leadership, and will be able provide overall direction to staff in support of department objectives. Travel may be required.

Experience as a Training/Safety Manager in DBS or a related industry preferred.
Proven leadership ability, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
BA/BS degree required.
BA/BS degree in an education-related field preferred.
Knowledge of industry safety practices and OSHA compliance techniques are required.
Must have strong computer skills including experience with Windows based PC’s, and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Must be able to lift, carry and maneuver a 32’ ladder for training purposes.
