Role Purpose
Work closely with the NBCUniversal Corporate Communications team to advance NBCUniversal's global agenda to strengthen Intellectual Property (IP) protection for the company's content around the world through media outreach and social media outlets, as well as through building strong alliances with other Intellectual Property intensive industries, labor unions and other organizations focused on protecting jobs and growing the U.S. economy.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with NBCUniversal's General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Communications, to develop and execute comprehensive communications and media relations strategies to support Pro-IP initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with members of the press.
  • Identify opportunities for NBCUniversal personnel to participate in key industry events to highlight the Company's IP strategy.
  • Support NBCUniversal’s Internal Communications team by providing messaging as needed around topics related to Intellectual Property.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within NBCUniversal across the United States, and Europe to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each division's intellectual property efforts.
  • Act as liaison to consultants in the US and abroad on Intellectual Property issues.


  • Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS required
  • Minimum 5 years of Communication or Public Relations experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Digital Media
