Duties And Responsibilities

& Minimum Requirements:
The Research Technician 3 will be involved with ongoing projects in the areas of systems of care and the impact of training and technical assistance in children’s mental health, preventive health, health management care plans, and expected outcomes for individuals with disabilities, and promotion of self-determination, productivity, independence, and inclusion of individuals with developmental and other disabilities across the life span. The candidate will assist with various research and evaluation projects aimed at improving mental health outcomes for children and adolescents as well as policies, services, and systems for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Tasks include conducting literature searches, reviews, and syntheses; developing research and evaluation protocols and tools; collecting, entering, organizing, and analyzing data; conducting quantitative, qualitative, and secondary data analysis; aiding in the development of reports, scientific presentations, resource and training materials, and articles; participating in research and evaluation team activities; and assisting with other tasks appropriate for the position.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree. Strong written, oral communication and research skills. Ability to maintain a research and evaluation library, catalogue of resources, and several large databases. Knowledge of library and web related research, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiar with database management, statistical software experience is required. Must be multi-tasked and have good organizational skills.
