DESCRIPTION

Ensures that all contact with customers and colleagues is a positive experience. Provides support to external customers (members, potential members, callers) and to internal customers (account representatives, executive staff, and coworkers). Ensures materials are prepared as requested, accurately, in a timely manner, and that they represent quality.

DUTIES

Key Result Areas
Essential

  • Answers and directs incoming telephone calls and walk in customers
  • Separates and distributes incoming mail
  • Performs secretarial duties including word processing, proofreading, collating and preparation of cash in sheets
  • Calls in requests for repairs and maintenance of building
  • Prepares and updates telephone extension lists and employee roster
  • Inventories, maintains, and orders office supplies
  • Records messaging on phone system
  • Trains back-up personnel for front desk coverage

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Sitting with intermittent moving in an office environment, lifting of office supplies, talking and hearing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
  • Ability to organize, work efficiently, perform multi-tasking, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self

  • Maintains a high level of customer service towards incoming phone calls and guests in the lobby
