                                                                                  • Perform assigned laboratory tests on received specimen
                                                                                  • Report results of tests performed
                                                                                  • Provide timely, concise, and detailed communication of all required information and documentation regarding laboratory operations to management
                                                                                  • Comply with all relevant Quality Control (QC) requirements
                                                                                  • Assist with kit and reagent inventory management
                                                                                  • Maintain clean and well-ordered work area(s)
                                                                                  • Comply with all instrument & equipment maintenance Standard Operating Protocols
                                                                                  • Complete other tasks, perform other duties, and comply with management direction(s) as may be reasonably assigned or issued for successful laboratory operations
                                                                                  • Edit time cards
                                                                                  • Laboratory Safety Officer
                                                                                  • Ensure adequate daily staffing in all areas of the lab
                                                                                  • Schedule training and document competency of new laboratory staff
                                                                                  • Participate in data collection for Quality Improvement activities
                                                                                  Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience)
                                                                                  • Hold a degree in medical technology or one of the basic sciences (chemistry, biology, biochemistry, physics, etc.)
                                                                                  • Previous experience working in a laboratory (at least 5 years).
                                                                                  • Previous leadership experience
                                                                                  • Basic computer skills: spreadsheets, Microsoft word, etc.
                                                                                  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in English
                                                                                  • Ability to effectively communicate
