The Academic Advisor of the Academic Advising and Assessment Center provides academic
advising to beginning freshman, transfer, readmit, and continuing students.
Advise beginning freshman, transfer, readmit,and continuing students. Help facilitate
student awareness of all resources available and required to enhance their
educational journey to success.
Advise students at regional campus locations.
Provide feedback to students regarding their academic progress via unofficial degree
Assist in improving communication with faculty/staff/students regarding advising
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in any area is required.
One to Two years related work experience or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, leadership skills, attention to
detail, and technical and professional knowledge.
Strong computer skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
