Intern Job Title: Intern Quality Assurance Associate

Targeted Majors/Degrees: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Finance, Information Science/Technology, Management, Telecom (Master’s only)
Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist in the development and expansion of the quality assurance program to cover all areas of the business.
Department: This position resides in the customer operations department. This department contributes to tw telecom’s success by implementing and monitoring the quality standards for tw telecom field locations across the country.
Duties & Responsibilities: As an intern in this group, overall, you’ll be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of quality controls in place and building reports to communicate the results of the monitoring activities.
On day to day basis: On a day to day basis, you will interact with the senior manager of quality assurance as well as various business owners to identify, develop, and implement quality standards, as well as develop reporting to monitor their effectiveness.
During your first days with the company: During your first days at the company, you’ll learn about the structure of tw telecom, how our business works and what role field operations plays in the company's success. You'll also learn about the quality assurance program and how it is helping to define quality standards for field operations.
Targeted Skills/Knowledge: Targeting candidates who are proficient with Mircosoft Office. Someone with familiar with business controls, quality controls, and performance metrics and excellent communication and organization skills.
