eHealthInsurance (America's #1 Health Insurance site) is looking for a full-time SEO Manager to join our Search Engine Optimization team.

An ideal candidate is a sharp, detailed-oriented person who is proficient in SEO and all things search related. You will join the SEO team and be initially trained on our search engine optimization techniques, but prior experience is required.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Recommend and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
  • Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of reporting and SEO health of websites
  • Create and support marketing content for blog & social media purposes based on SEO initiatives
  • Assist with web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, to increase conversions and business goals
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across major search engines
  • Identify new content areas and keyphrase trending/forecasting for new content generation
  • Assist in light coding and implementation of HTML, Meta data, and other SEO related items
  • Assist with managing link building and linking opportunities
  • Assist in problem solving individual technical SEO issues
Qualifications of an ideal candidate are:
  • Should be familiar with who Matt Cutts, Danny Sullivan and Aaron Wall are
  • General knowledge or understanding of web reporting tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Omniture, Google & Bing Webmaster tools, SEOMoz Site Explorer, MajesticSEO Site Explorer, etc…)
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Strong grammar and editing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Computer savvy with proficiency Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong understanding of brand promotion
  • Familiar with major search engine best practices (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Google Analytics Certified preferred
  • 3-5 years of SEO experience working with clients or in-house business
