Responsible for assisting Senior Network Analyst and Senior System Analyst in the design, management, maintenance and operation of network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, VLAN, WLAN, VOIP), Firewall, and Network Services (including DNS, VPN, FTP, IIS), Windows DC, AD, Network Security (including Authentication, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Spyware, or other emerging security-related threats)at the enterprise level. Handle all Infrastructure Level VOIP System Systems, including system level adds/moves/changes, system level troubleshooting, and system level maintenance for Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unified Contact Center, Fax Server, and Call Accounting. Maintain telephone equipment rooms, telephone inventory and wiring up to and including the punch down blocks in the wiring closets. Responsible for keeping accurate documentation. Responsible for Backup and Recovery procedures to ensure all servers and systems are backed up and tapes are stored per policy. Performs pro-active tasks to ensure availability of the enterprise-level network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, VLAN, WLAN, VOIP), DC and AD, Anti-Virus, Backup and Recovery, SAN, Datacenter, and performs system design, management, maintenance, upgrades, and backup.
Performs pro-active tasks to ensure enterprise-level Network Services, Network Security, and Systems and perform system design, management, maintenance and upgrades
Implements IT projects using a variety of technologies on a variety of WAN, LAN, VOIP, server, SAN, Datacenter, and network platforms.
Provides end-user support to enterprise-level users both local and remote.
Maintains documentation and Knowledge Base Management in related topics
Advanced knowledge and skills in IT and technology.
Ability to conduct hands-on troubleshooting of the LAN, servers, and PCs.
Ability to judge necessity and logic of all proposed system changes within the area of their responsibility.
Ability to lead projects. Must have project management skills including the ability to effectively utilize resources, personnel, and budget allocations.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and technologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work with all levels of management and Maquet personnel, and with outside vendors.
Strong written communication skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
3+ years of IT experience in Cisco, Microsoft, Dell/HP, Symantec Backup required
1+ years EMC/Netapp, Datacenter Technologies required
Associates Degree in IT or computer related field required, Bachelor degree in IT or computer related field highly desirable.
MCP and CCNA are required. MCSE and CCNP/CCIE are highly desirable.
