Due to our growth, we are seeking an Manager of Human Resources for our West Deptford, NJ headquarters. In accordance with Enclara Healths business plan, this position is responsible for all aspects of human resources including benefits, compensation, employee information, reviews, employee relations, policies and procedures, recruitment, and training. Key Responsibilities: Consults with, advises and guides Managers, Supervisors and staff with the development, interpretation and administration Enclara Health Human Resources policies and procedures, programs and state regulations; Benefits administration - Employee consultation, insurance problem investigation and resolution, short-term disability/leaves of absence, workers' compensation cases, unemployment insurance; Assists Executive team with the design, development, implementation and administration of programs and policies. Keeps abreast of current laws regarding employment, ensuring legal compliance with ADA, FLSA, EEO, and other applicable laws; Conducts management/employee presentations on up-to-date company policies, training programs, procedures, benefits, and relevant industry information; Researches and investigates employee relations issues, and recommends actions, as a result. Motivates employees to improve their present performance and prepare for career advancement; Compensation administration – Analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations to approve Human Resources transactions to ensure equity and thoroughness of documents; Evaluates and maintains headcount levels, requisition control, and organizational charts, maintaining records management and control of all electronic and hard copy files. Compiles reports, as needed, by Executive team; Represents Enclara Health's interests at State and Company employee grievance hearings; and Interfaces with public, i.e., vendors, applicants, temporary agencies, EDD, loan companies, etc.
Four-year Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development, with at least five years of progressive leadership experience in generalist Human Resources management positions. Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employment law, compensation, benefits, organizational planning and development, employee relations, training and positive labor relations. Ability and desire to provide the full scope of human resources services -- from advising senior management on strategic issues to administering annual benefits open enrollment. Relevant industry experience in healthcare is a plus. SPHR or PHR certification is desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Extensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite, information systems, and database administration. Customer service mentality and desire to run fast and play a key leadership role, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment.
