Perform insurance support functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform insurance functions necessary to support an Account Manager to include, but not limited to, processing claims, billings, file maintenance, audits & policy changes.
Prepare schedules or summary of insurance.
Set up new Master Certificates and process same.
Complete application input for submission process.
May assist in initiation of marketing new business.
May assist in renewal of existing accounts.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements:
Education - High school graduate or equivalent
Experience Required - 2-3 years commercial insurance handling.
Skills - Experienced in personal computer operations, including internet and Microsoft products, basic word & excel. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing. Must possess Property/Casualty license. Be in the process of completing INS certification or obtaining CISR designation.
Tenure - Commercial Customer Service Representative I, category 13, requires six months in the Commercial Customer Service Representative Trainee position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Commercial Customer Service Representative II, category 12, requires twelve months as a Commercial Customer Service Representative I position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Senior Commercial Customer Service Representative, category 11, requires twelve months in the Commercial Customer Service Representative II position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Must have a demonstrated grasp on Agency activities and have mastered assigned duties. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
