Who this Job Will Job Appeal To Hilton Garden Inn Mountain View Hotel is seeking a permanent,
full-time Food and Beverage Service Manager The hours will be a combination of
day and night and do include weekends and holidays. The
primary responsibility of this position is to oversee all food and beverage
service in the restaurant and bar. This position is a working management
position and will include working scheduled shifts in the restaurant and bar.
Requirements Proof of US citizenship and residency. Proficiency in English, both written and oral, and must be clearly understood during telephone conversations. Proficiency in bartending and food service. Possess a high degree of initiative, excellent work ethic, consistent work habits, organization skills, professional demeanor and appearance. Customer service experience, including problem resolution and the ability to positively contribute to the overall guest experience. Computer literacy and experience with hotel management software. Supervisory experience Valid driver’s license and favorable driving record. Be able to: Lift and carry 40 lbs (for example, stocking product) Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach (for example, filing tasks and using under counter and above bar storage). Stand for period of eight hours (with scheduled rest breaks). Think quickly and efficiently and be able to act appropriately to meet and exceed guest’s expectations. Multitask Responsibilities Ordering of beverage to include beer, wine, liquor and mixers. Weekly and monthly inventorying of all beverage and supplies Scheduling of all food and beverage service staff, ensuing labor cost is maintained. Be familiar with hotel safety, security and emergency procedures and be able to execute protocols in the event of a crisis. Maintaining guest satisfaction scores, daily responses to guest comments, concerns, compliments, etc Accurate routine daily accounting including daily deposits, posting of charges, daily logs, etc. The maintenance of the master training matrix for all food and beverage team members and all required record keeping for bi-annual quality assurance inspections. Inspections of the hotel, including front and back of the house areas for the purpose of discovering and correcting conditions that risk the security, safety or health of hotel employees, guests or other visitors. Interviewing, hiring, terminating, training, and scheduling of all food and beverage service staff, including servers and bartenders following company guidelines and procedures. ·Detailed training of staff in up-selling, drink mixology and wine service Compilation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and figures Benefits Position benefits are major medical, dental insurances, paid
