Job Description

Provide engineering technical support and oversee production testing for operations during off-shift hours. Position requires working independently during night and weekends. Ideal candidate will have a broad, technical background with experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of a variety of manufacturing equipment. Project management experience and excellent organizational and communication skills also required. Occasionally may be required to work day-shift hours during week to support strategic projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-5 years of semiconductor production test floor experience including setups, debugging, and handler operation. The position requires excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), attention to detail, ability to read and follow procedures, and accurately complete lot travelers. Additional duties will include shipping, receiving, material movements, inventory control and data entry to record product movements in a database. Computer skills should include e-mail, Word and Excel. Must be able to interpret data and analyze results to guide in debugging setups and communicating issues to engineering staff. Physical/mechanical duties will include lifting, bending and working in tight spaces to access hardware needed to partially disassemble/assemble handler for change over to different package sizes. The disassembly of sockets for repair and cleaning will require working with small parts and good eyesight. This is a position with an opportunity to grow into a supervisory role as the company expands and adds other production personnel. This job will require working alone and the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, responsible self-starter.

Technician debugging skills to troubleshoot setups Evaluation board checkout and debug Manage logistics for board builds (track progress, get quotes, request purchase orders) Calibrate ATE systems Resolve problem setups by using systematic analytical analysis Verify device counts and device ball integrity 2 year technical degree (AS or other) or equivalent industry experience in technical product environment
