Description

Business Leader will be part of the Global Brand Marketing team responsible for planning and development of digital and social content and assets, responsible for contributing to development of global digital and social go-to-market strategies, and owning content creation and asset development for use globally. This person will provide significant contributions and leadership in three core areas:

Contribution/consulting in development of global digital and social strategies

Lead development of global digital creative approach and guidelines

Lead global creative and content development for Visa’s owned digital channels including video and social media for use across multiple geographies

Act as the brand evangelist on best practices contributing to success of digital/social programs - provide consultation while working with internal Visa functional groups and regional counterparts

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of global owned communities and content; coordination with geographies on content plans
  • Sourcing and managing 3rd party agencies in the development and creation of content for digital and social channels
  • End to end (strategy to execution, rights management, etc.) content and program development for global social content including, social media communities and content
  • Development of digital owned and paid media guidelines for Visual Identity System
  • Development of creative approach and guidelines for mobile app development and icon consistency
  • Consult on Visa.com design for alignment with Visual Identity System
  • Drive & lead development of insights to drive creative/content briefs
  • Thought-leadership in regards to best practices in creative excellence in the digital/social space

Reports to Head of Global Brand Marketing (Senior Business Leader)

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree required; MBA preferred
  • 12+ years business experience, with majority in brand strategy, brand architecture, brand identity development & brand management – preferably within a global organization
  • Interest/passion for digital technology and social media, possess a clear understanding of current practices, ecosystem and trends
  • Experience creating and launching multi-platform campaigns (web, mobile, video) and managing brand communities
  • Advanced understanding of interdependencies between Paid, Owned and Earned channels
  • Skilled at writing business requirements and creative briefs
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple marketing disciplines and varying organizational groups
  • Experience “managing up”, building Executive Level communications and delivering presentations
  • Experience within marketing, design/brand or other similar field is required
  • Strong working relationships with and management of external agency partners
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
