Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering from a four year accredited college or university. /n 15+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience is required.
Professional Engineering License is required.
Candidates must have experience in seismic engineering as it applies to nuclear power plants.
Familiarity with the design modification process involving concrete and steel structures, design of commodity supports and preparation of engineering change packages for existing nuclear operating facilities is highly preferred.
Candidate must be capable of leading a group of structural engineers and designers for a nuclear project(s).
Candidates are expected to maintain regular contact with the project personnel and the Chief Discipline Engineer to ensure adherence to industry codes, regulatory requirements.
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
