Product Development Engineering Intern (MS/PhD Level)
As a member of our team, you will be working in the Product Development Engineering (PDE) team within Server Development and Manufacturing Group focused on development and introduction of new generations of Xeon and Itanium microprocessors.
Product Development Engineers are responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp, and for delivering the manufacturing test solutions.
Following are examples of activities in which Product Development Engineers make significant contributions:
-Definition and development of manufacturing flows and test methodologies
-Pre-silicon logic validation and test content generation for Design-for-test (DFT) circuitry
-Development of software tools and test programs that utilize complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to deliver manufacturing test capabilities
-Development of software tools and solutions for manufacturing test data collection, analysis and reporting
The selected candidate will be available for a minimum of 6 month commitment to the assignment and exhibit the following behavioral traits:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must be pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 3 months experience with software development/programming languages (i.e. C, C++, C#, Visual Basic/.NET. Perl, Python, Java, HTML, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 months experience with microprocessor architecture
- Minimum of 3 months experience withFundamentals of statistics
- Minimum of 3 months experience with Digital logic fundamentals
-Exposure to logic simulation/validation
