The Regional Demand Planning Analyst, Management Logistic Center (MLC) is responsible for developing an accurate Regional Demand Forecast for a specific business unit(s) / product line(s). Leads the regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reviews with the key business unit stakeholders in the region. Drives to consensus through use of facts and data. Monitors/Manages execution to S&OP agreements, and communicates to the customer through executive S&OP. Works directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships, processes, and data management - resulting in achievement of Global Supply Chain business objectives. Leads monthly demand reviews with Product Marketing and local and contract manufacturing in region. Consolidates global forecasts for North America sourced products and communicates forecast shifts to supply chain partners to ensure alignment to customer service and inventory targets. Supports new product introduction and product phase out processes with Research and Development, Business Development, Global Marketing, Finance, and Global Supply Chain. Coordinates the analysis of monthly regional demand to ensure accuracy and identify trends. Works directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships, processes, and data management - resulting in achievement of Global Supply Chain business objectives. Establishes and monitors performance metrics on a regular basis. Performs statistical forecast review. Gathers market intelligence from all regions & oversee data collection from Supply Planners, and reports this intelligence and data to the principal. Enters market intelligence and create Global Forecast, as well as making the decisions necessary when there are changes needed to the Global Forecast. Coordinates new product launch forecasting for all regions. Makes key decisions on Systems Parameters. Partners with IT on systems improvements and implementations related to planning systems. Communicates to customer through the S&OP process. Employs Process Excellence in the improvement and/or development of processes to drive forecast accuracy, business plan / demand plan alignment, and other planning scorecard metrics. Designs and implement action plans for process and metric improvement. Creates alignment with external business partners (HCS-Distribution, HCS-VMI, Affiliates, and others) to align supporting business processes/functions with demand-supply decisions. Follow current compliance regulations and standards and comply with all federal regulated programs. Coordinates the analysis of monthly regional demand to ensure accuracy and identify trends. Performs other work related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Engineering or related technical field. MBA degree preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible supply chain/materials management/operations experience are required. Hands on working experience with inventory, planning, order management or planning experience directly related to supply and demand within the healthcare / regulated manufacturing industry highly preferred. Process Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean, and APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) certifications in production and inventory management (CPIM), supply chain planning (CSCP), are desirable. Sound knowledge and computer proficiency including ERP, MRP, APS, DP tools, MS Excel and MS Access. Experience with JDE and SAP required. Candidates must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish). Availability to travel at least 10% of the time within and outside North America is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required inter-facing with all levels throughout the company. Ability to manage multiple projects in a changing environment while still meeting deadlines. Demonstrate leadership ability, self-starter, decisive, self -motivated, and desire to work in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to anticipate and communicate impact of changes. The selected candidate must have excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills.
