We are currently in search for a mid-level Multimedia Production Specialist to work at our client site in Washington, DC. This is a full-time employee position with Digicon Corporation.
Position Description :
The Multimedia Production Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sr. Multimedia Production Specialist (MPS) in video production technologies. Candidate will support the Sr. MPS efforts in content generation for video, digital photography, audio and other emerging presentation technologies. Candidate will work with different departments to develop and produce video recordings of live events. Additionally candidate will support the creation of training modules for in-house use and serve as backup support to the Sr. MPS on video production.
Candidate will support processes as specifically directed by the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (“COTR”). This position involves proactive and professional interaction with customers, knowledge of current industry standards as it relates to video production and excellent customer service and communications skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for media content creation, the video documentation of live publicly attended hearings, roundtables, conferences and ceremonies for distribution on platforms such as YouTube. Additional responsibilities include the staging, lighting, directing, shooting, editing, green screen manipulation and post-production on agency videos, interviews and podcasts. Other responsibilities include, managing digital message signage, posting videos to public internet sites and networking with broadcast and web professionals and other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
Self-starter with the ability to exhibit a high level of creativity and productivity (show in portfolio).
Familiarity with ENG/EFP and IMAG/Event production techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in Video/Broadcast production discipline and/or 5 to 7 years in-field experience.
Possess industry knowledge in staging, lighting, directing, shooting, editing, green screen manipulation, interviews and podcasts technology.
Experience in working in a team environment to support video production initiatives.
Demonstrated ability in completing tasks and deadlines as assigned by management.
5 – 7 yrs. experience in live, multi-camera video recording; photography, audio flow expertise, editing and video post-production experience.
Knowledge and hands on experience with Professional Video Production Software.
Able to demonstrate achievements with a portfolio of completed projects.
Possess strong communication, directing, writing skills, and excellent organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects with the ability to produce cinematic visual effects and motion graphics.
