The Site Sourcing Leader will own the sourcing vision, strategy and deliverables for North America (NA) Power Quality (PQ) manufacturing sites within Digital Energy. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities
Lead Sourcing activities for NA PQ sites including supplier negotiations, quoting, and site support as needed

Develop strong relationship with operations and engineering teams to partner in driving key sourcing and business metrics including cost, cash, supplier quality and fulfillment metrics

Partner with Sourcing Quality team to drive defect reduction and quality initiatives

Ensure compliance with GE Energy sourcing policies, procedures and export control regulations

Participate in make vs. buy strategies and decisions

Reduce risks in supply chain by minimizing single / sole source situations

Meet or exceed all OP deflation targets on direct and indirect material

Drive emerging market growth strategy

Drive standardization and continuous improvement of sourcing processes

Drive business cash initiatives including Days to Pay and inventory turns Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Art, Business or Technical discipline from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 5 years Sourcing / Supply Chain / Manufacturing experience

Greenbelt Certified (GE Employee’s Only)

Proven Leadership in cross-functional and matrix environments

Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating

Familiarity with Energy Services purchasing and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Minimum of 5 years Sourcing / Supply Chain / Manufacturing experience identifying opportunities, selecting suppliers, managing projects & implementing contracts

High motivation and influencing skills

Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal / facilitation skills

Demonstrated negotiation skills

Proactive self-starter and change agent

Contract development and business law knowledge
