Provides a working knowledge of technical support and design for voice systems
Works directly with Telecom vendors/suppliers of new and existing voice services
Assists with Telecom contract negotiations
Lead internal annual telecom audits
Coordinates and manages field location adds, moves and changes on Legacy PBX and VoIP systems.
Provides project management for Network Voice at Corporate and field locations.
Works with the business and Field location IT Systems owners to roll out new voice technologies
Provides level 2 support for Voice Systems
Responds actively and sensitively to the needs of our customers with a commitment to service and excellence
Provides and communicate a working knowledge of Daimler and DTNA Legacy Voice and VoIP systems design, standards and services
Manages tasks through CISM
Participates in weekly on-call rotation, after-hours maintenance
Experience in communicating effectively through oral and written methods
Demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the process of continuous improvement
Open and responsive to change
Demonstrates the ability to manage and prioritize projects and tasks
Demonstrates effective time management and has the ability to work independently.
Bachelors degree and 1 year of experience; OR, an Associates' degree and 2 years of experience; OR, 6 years of related Daimler experience is required.
Two-year technical or business degree and the equivalent of three to five years of Voice Information Technology experience are preferred. Excellent decision-making, problem solving and technical writing skills is preferred. Advanced technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications and/or languages is preferred
Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
