Our Business Consultants work with Valvoline's customers to grow their business. We are looking for people that have a background in training, sales and consulting with a preference in the automotive industry.
You will be expected to coordinate the use of many company resources (e.g. technical, marketing, customer service) to provide value added services, sales/product training, and new product presentations to account(s).
You will need to impart business knowledge and the training necessary to support the goals of the account(s).
Learning and using typical business reporting tools to analyze purchasing practices that will impact sales goals.
Assist in the account(s) efficient execution of our Valvoline marketing programs.
You will be asked to maximize the ROI for Valvoline's 'Family of Brands'. You will do this by positively influencing productivity with our customers and improving their bottom line. This is our most important gauge of success.
It is expected that you will learn to recognize how we may penetrate our full line of products into a customer.
This position will be located in Dallas Texas or Los Angeles, CA.

This is not an entry level position. We are looking for people with solid work experience in a training and/or consulting role and with automotive industry experience. Here are a few of the details of what we are looking for:

3-5 years training and customer support / sales experience.
Automotive systems experience and automotive technical aptitude.
Bachelor Degree preferred.
Strong presentation skills and ability to facilitate class sizes up to 25 people.
Ability to multi-task. Must be able to maintain positive relationships with as many as 50+ retail locations.
Ability to travel up to 75% of your time and ability to travel overnight.
Computer skills including all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes.
Working knowledge of SAP and is beneficial.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must be able to pass a background check, driver's license check and pass a drug test.
