The FPCMS Legal Product Group is primarily responsible for creating and updating time-sensitive regulatory documents for Fidelity's U.S mutual funds. The product manager is responsible for preparing and managing the production of the prospectuses and Statements of Additional Information ("SAIs") for Fidelity's mutual funds.

Position Responsibilities
  • Yearly revisions of prospectuses and SAIs for Fidelity mutual funds
  • Resolution of compliance, portfolio management, marketing, and operational issues
  • Coordination with business partners during the revision process, including auditors, legal, and internal reviewers
  • Preparation of supplements to existing prospectuses and SAIs
  • Review of financial reports and shareholder updates and creation of performance pages for financial reports and shareholder updates
  • Creation of prospectuses and SAIs for new funds/classes, unique proxy proposals or production of proxy statements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0-2 years experience in the mutual fund/financial services industry or other related education and/or experience
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines (ability to prioritize, demonstrate organization skills and time management skills)
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing regulatory environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of mutual fund regulations, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933
