The Product Engineer will be responsible for the instrument panel, console, and trim. The Product Engineer will drive the development process partnering with external suppliers, Chrysler FEA and Advance Concept Engineering. Design, release, and validate interior plastic components from inception through launch. The Candidate must be an energetic leader that proposes feasible solutions and leads the team through the product development process and must be knowledgeable in development of DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans. Previous OEM / Supplier / Chrysler, Catia V5, NX, Team Center, Chrysler business system experience is highly desirable and well as problem solving and DFSS experience.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or plastics from an ABET accredited university
  • Product development experience of Instrument panels/consoles or interior trim components
  • Catia V5, NX, and Team Center
  • Experience with injection mold tooling
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering or plastics from an ABET accredited university
  • Knowledge of product development of exterior system components such as body hardware and mirrors
  • Previous OEM / supplier / Chrysler experience is highly desirable
  • Problem solving and DFSS experience
