SUMMARY: The Project Integration Engineer position is responsible for integration of new ‘Strategic Account’ business into Lincoln Industries and suppliers. This includes, but is not limited to sampling, process development, fixture and rack prototyping, completing work instructions and coordinating initial production runs. The individual will also be responsible for completing documents for submission to our customers on Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and internally for our Project Integration Process (PIP). This position works closely with our Operations, Materials Management, Quality, Integrated Finishing Services(IFS) and the Business Development Manager(s) and requires extensive customer interaction.

Leads and manages multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
Needs to be organized, good at project planning and able to work in a team setting to keep people on task in order to meet deadlines.
Complete or assure completion of all required project integration documentation both internally (PIP) and for our customers (PPAP).
Has the ability to solve technical problems and provide solutions to develop processes capable of meeting customer requirements.
Conduct weekly integration meetings with our Operations, IFS organization, Materials Planning and Quality teams on the different accounts.
Manage customer PO’s for sample parts and build parts.
Manage supplier PO’s for tooling and outside services.
Schedule internal and external suppliers to assure parts under integration meet delivery deadlines.
Follow up with customers to resolve problems, answer questions, and maintain a good relationship during integration process.
Maintain project and/or customer files, as well as, update in house project list.
Technical project management
Builds and fosters positive working relationships with both internal and external customers
Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Expected: Four year technical degree and experience in process development, manufacturing or engineering.
Preferred: Advanced degree, 5+ years’ experience in an integration or process development role. Previous experience in leading teams indirectly. Has an understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Knowledge in plating, stamping, casting and forging processes.
