General Job Description
This position involves coordinating, information collection and research work at a professional level supporting the development of comprehensive statewide database for emergency preparedness. Duties involve coordination and extensive interaction with regional planning representatives in each of Vermont's four Public Safety Districts. This position will coordinate primarily with Local Emergency Planning Committees, Regional Planning Commissions and Citizen Corps affiliates. Work is performed under the supervision of the Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Deputy Director for Operations and Logistics.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Six (6) years or more at or above a technical level involving the public sector, dealing with emergency situations.
