Job Descriptions:
Primary Responsibilities

Administers, manages, and develops business system applications and technologies needed to support the Warehouse Operations process area. Develops detailed systems specifications based on business requirements. Leads the analysis, design, and testing of new enhancements and solutions, as required. Consults with other analysts and business users to identify current operating procedures and opportunities for improvement, and to clarify the related business requirements. Develops and maintains system documentation and may assist with user documentation and/or training. In addition to system enhancements, is responsible for providing end user support and resolving production issues.

Major Essential Functions:
  • Business Enhancements
o Analyze, design and develop system enhancements to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Production Support
o Support production systems at the defined facilities, including troubleshoot/resolution of production issues.
o Provide after hour, weekend, and holiday support as needed/required.
o Monitor and update assigned support tickets as required.
  • Interaction with Business and IT
o Work with business users during definition, design and implementation initiatives.
o Work and communicate with business and IT personnel in implementation and support activities.
  • Documentation
o Develop and maintain system support documentation as required.
o Assist with user documentation for fixes and enhancements, if applicable.
  • Vendor
o Work directly with appropriate vendors during problem resolution and enhancement cycles.
  • Testing
o Perform testing of patches and releases.
o Perform testing of system fixes and enhancements to ensure compliance to specifications.

Minor Essential Function:
  • Governance
o Complete change management documentation, as required.
o Support and participate in SOX audits, as needed.
o Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are being followed and executed properly.
  • Administrative
o Complete time entry as required by management.
o Provide status reports as required by management.
o Work with Business Process Manager during annual budgets, as required.
  • Systems Environment
o Meet with business data stewards to review user and group logical access.
o Monitor system performance and track performance over time.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a distribution environment and have a solid understanding of supply chain applications.

Familiarity with processes and practices in the warehouse operations process area. The includes but is not limited to the following applications/automation: WMS, TMS, SPS, PTL, Conveyor and other automation equipment.

Knowledge of relevant technologies for business process area, such as SQL for data queries/validation, basic understanding of XML and Unix for troubleshooting and testing
