In this role you will support the DOE Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence's Intelligence Directorate, Analytic Support Division. You will implement the final production and dissemination of finished intelligence products; service the entire analytic production line across the Directorate; and assist Division directors, analysts, and the Field Intelligence Elements (FIEs) at the National Laboratories. This position requires an active security clearance and will be based at the client site in Washington, DC.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in journalism, English, communications
related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with10 years of professional analytic or intelligence community experience; or 5 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
5+ years of experience requiring a working knowledge of the IC and the intelligence production cycle, and related DNI directives and plans, Executive Orders and regulations governing production
5+ years of experience in editing, and providing senior-level review of intelligence products in accordance with ODNI tradecraft standards and ODNI ICDs
5+ years of experience improving efficiency in intelligence review and production processes
5+ years of experience in production management, editing or analytical experience in one of DOE core topic sets: nuclear, science, technology, non-proliferation, or other energy related subject
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills with emphasis on supporting IC analysts
Ability to work with Directors/Deputy Directors, analysts and FIEs to coordinate production and dissemination activities and ultimately organizational and national goals of the intelligence program
Ability to maintain good work relationships
Ability to comprehend and understand technical content
Ability to implement and utilize sound technical editorial skills
