Sabra, Wang & Associates, Inc. has an opening for a Data Analyst in our Columbia Office.
Duties of the position:
Development of maps for display and analysis
Development of GIS data for transportation studies, research, and analysis
GIS data collection
Analysis of maps and data
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Requirements:
Experience with ESRI's ArcGIS software suite especially, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox, ArcEditor, and Model Builder
Familiarity with GPS data collection
Basic understanding of geodatabases
Knowledge of cartographic principles
Development of maps for display and analysis
Experience with ArcMap extensions, experience in linear referencing and geocoding, experience with Javascript, Python programming languages a plus
excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel
U.S. Citizenship required
