Human Resources Recruiting Assistant (part-time)

SUMMARY : Provide assistance to the Human Resources Lead Recruiter

REPORTS TO: HR Lead Recruiter and Director of Human Resources (in Recruiter’s absence)

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist with HR New Hire Orientation and On-Boarding process
  • Assist with the management of NCC’s Applicant Tracking System, CATS
  • Identify candidates in the Applicant Tracking System that meet the minimum qualifications for the position of interest
  • Pre-screen qualified candidates for specific positions
  • Assist with scheduling candidates for an in-house interview
  • Conduct applicable assessment skills test
  • Conduct professional reference checks
  • Prepare new hire orientation packets
  • Assist in maintaining up to date filings and record management
  • Participate in necessary trainings, meetings, conferences, job fairs (internally and externally)
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : (Required to perform essential functions)

  • At least 1 year of direct experience working in a professional business environment
  • Must have at least 48 college credits from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Management or related field of study
