Boeing's Integrated Materials Management service (IMM) is a new business operating out of Boeings Material Management organization. The business manages aircraft maintenance materials that have been placed, on consignment by suppliers, at airline maintenance locations. IMM provides supply chain management and inventory accounting services to the airline, and manages all financial transactions between the suppliers and the airlines.
As a member of an existing team, this Oracle Developer will work with internal Functional Analysts to review and understand business requirements, participates in the functional Macroscope specifications (P490) walk-throughs, designs, programs, tests, implements, documents technical specification (P555) and maintains assigned programming tasks in compliance with established departmental standards.
Position requires a strong working knowledge of supply chain management processes, systems development and sustaining procedures. Candidate must have experience in Oracle E-Business Suite implementations and must have participated in system upgrades, conversions and migrations. Candidate must have experience in PL/SQL programming to support the designing, coding, and testing program extensions. Knowledge of and ability to code using Unix Shell scripts, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OA Framework components, BI Publisher reports of a complex nature on UNIX Sun Solaris F4800 and HP Servers with an EMC distributed Oracle 8i and 10g databases is required. Candidate must have an in-depth working knowledge of the internal structure of the Oracle E-Business Suite Application and databases. Knowledge of Oracle Inventory, Order Management and Purchasing modules would be a plus. Experience in working TOAD/SQL Navigator and ClearCase would be a plus. Candidate must have a good understanding of SDLC and must be able to apply software engineering standards, processes, and techniques in assigned tasks.
Candidate must have ability to lead and guide junior developers in programming techniques and strategy. Candidate must be able to conduct design reviews and structured walk-throughs of program specifications, design and code with technical programmers/analysts. Must be a good team player and be able to work under general direction. Experience in DMR Macroscope methodology would be a plus.
