The Orzac Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation is a 120 bed hospital based facility. OCECR offers a short-term rehabilitation unit for patients who are ready to leave the hospital but require additional medical attention before returning home. The program boasts one of the most advanced rehabilitation facilities in physical, occupational and speech therapy. OCECR has a long-term skilled care unit for those individuals that require 24 hour complex nursing care. OCECR also houses an adult day healthcare program to provide care to the frail elderly, while maintaining them in their community home.
The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating individual/group recreational programs, provide program support and assistance for the department, document attendance of residents in recreation program and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or Equivalency and strong verbal, written and organizational skills are required.
