Flexible In-home Nanny Once/Week
Omaha, NE

This job posting is no longer available on Care.com.

Hello!
My husband and I will be having a baby in April, and I will be returning to work in early June. He is a firefighter, so he works 24 hour shifts, and I am a nurse practitioner and work 12 hour overnights. Needless to say, neither of us has a set schedule, and we will need someone to come and stay with our baby. The most likely hours would be from 5 p.m. to 630 a.m. approximately once a week.
We live in Millard, in a quiet safe neighborhood. We have a dog and 2 cats as well, and our dog is a 140lb Mastiff, so you would need to be comfortable with big dogs.
It would be great to have someone who would also be willing to do a little light housekeeping - dishes and vacuum would be about it, but that would be something we could discuss.
My husband has a daughter from his first marriage who is 7. She is rarely with us during the week, but it is possible there would be the occasional night she would be there. In that case, we would compensate accordingly.
We are looking for someone who has experience with infants, who would be willing to work a schedule that will differ from week to week. You would have a couple weeks of notice that we need you. As we are both health-care people, we would love someone who is perhaps in nursing school or is a CNA. You would need to provide your own transportation.
Please contact us with any questions!
