On May 2, 2005, The Boeing Company and the Lockheed Martin Corporation announced their intention to form a joint venture called the United Launch Alliance (ULA).
ULA brings together two of the launch industry's most experienced and successful teams - the Lockheed Martin Atlas and Boeing Delta teams - that have supported America's presence in space for almost 50 years. Atlas and Delta expendable launch vehicles have carried more than 850 combined payloads to space ranging from weather, telecommunications and national security satellites that protect and improve life on Earth, to deep space and interplanetary exploration missions that further our knowledge of the universe.
Job Description:
Ensures compliance with government and company regulations and policies through performance of compliance assessment reviews, self inspections, administrative inquiries, physical security, and communications security.
Gathers and reviews information to determine classification guidance and appropriate protection methods. Supports information protection from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security Program, security education, procedures, and physical controls.
Conducts security awareness training and education for ULA personnel.
Frequent customer interface and travel is required to support customer working group meetings and launch events. Must possess outstanding communication skills both written and oral.
Can effectively manage resources in order to get work completed, and orchestrate multiple activities at once to achieve goals by using resources effectively. Can represent company interests with minimum supervision and support team oriented working environment.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree.
10 years experience in Industrial Security.
5 years experience with working with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community policies/directives.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
Experience working with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities and accreditation process.
Ability to travel as needed up to 25% annually.
External Preferred Qualifications
EELV (Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle) Launch Vehicle program experience.
Experience communicating across the organization (both verbal and written).
Experience working independently and in a team environment.
Experience developing and giving presentations.
