Your Challenge:
We challenge you to join our network operations team as a RSE (Remote Services Engineering) Network Engineer 4. Demonstrating your experience with architecture, design and all aspects of the lifecycle of data center networks, including very large VPN hub layer through which over 15,000 HCFs (Healthcare Facilities) connect, you will be last point of escalation for the RSN (Remote Services Network) for problems that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 through Tier 3 Helpdesk teams.

Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will respond to complex networking problems and may need to escalate some problems to vendors or work with or advise Network Engineer Tier 3 or Tier 2 team members to determine root cause and resolution. Knowledge and duties will include:

Strong understanding of advanced network principles and Internet architecture.

Expert understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, and DHCP

Strong understanding of network access methods including xDSL, T1, DS3

Expert knowledge of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing, including dynamic routing protocols (specifically BGP and EIGRP)

Expert knowledge and experience with routing protocols, security, VPN solutions, firewalls (NAT), AAA and TACACS+ implementation and support

Good working knowledge and experience in use of various network management platforms for traffic and device management, such as Cisco Prime and Cisco ACS

Experience with hardware and software solutions using Cisco routers and switches, specifically ASR, 7206, 3945E, 5585X, 4500X, 3750X and Nexus 5000, 2000 and 1000v platforms

Experience with data center planning and implementation, specifically cabling (including cable management), circuit planning and delivery as well as other environmental considerations

Experience with packet capture and analysis, traffic and capacity management and utilization trending

Working knowledge and basic understanding of ITIL framework, HIPAA and ISO 27001 guidelines

Experience with installation, operations, maintenance (including lifecycle), and support

Demonstrated expert knowledge and expertise in local and wide area networking

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as determining and documenting root cause for outages

Ability to document network architecture and designs using Visio is required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ideal candidate is a strong team player and self-motivated

Excellent Customer Relations skills

Your Team:
Reporting to the Network Operations Manager, you will be part of global team that consists of 11 Network Engineers. The Tier 4 team is ultimately responsible for all networking problem resolution, applications technical support, knowledge base input and maintenance for the RSN.

We are looking for:
You will show, through prior experiences, how you have enabled positive change on end system connectivity and end-user response time while working with a team of network and systems engineers and application developers. You will also have the following:

CCNA Required

10+ years of experience in network design and engineering.

6+ years experience in a customer support organization

6+ years experience with Remote Access networking connectivity

6+ years experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

Ability to travel 10% is required, largely in support of projects addressing new hardware implementations in one of our global data centers

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or related field preferred

Experience with Cisco and HP SAN solutions preferred

Experience with F5 GTM and LTM solutions preferred

Basic Project planning skills to develop high level network-centric project plans preferred

Certification as a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer) or CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or other work-related experiences preferred

Ad-hoc Scripting preferred

Bilingual English / Mandarin Skills is a plus
